I have run and participated in just about every well know OCR in Canada but, Prison Break so when the chance came to do the Hamilton race/venue I jumped on it. • Registration and Festival: I arrived later in the day so registration was pretty much done, but it moved nice and fast for me.

Originally I was planning to race the Spartan Race weekend in Pennsylvania, USA, but I decided that I needed to go check out, and race, the new Mont Owl’s Head venue prior to the upcoming Spartan Canada Race weekend (July 30th and 31st) that will include the Super, Beast and Ultra Beast distances and courses.

I raced the Spartan Canada, Montreal Sprint on Saturday and was very much looking forward to running Bootcamp Race – Black Ops II on Sunday. I love doing new races and not getting stuck on just a few OCR companies so I was super excited to be trying something new and in Canada! Registration and
