How I trained to run 75 miles at World’s Toughest Mudder by Adam Kwitko
samedi, 19 novembre 2016
par 3-secondes
I have received some messages since World’s Toughest Mudder asking for advice on how to achieve mileage goals for next year’s race. As the conversations dove deeper, they tended to veer off into the direction of “what gear did I use”, “what did I eat” or “what was my pit strategy”. While those are all important questions, they

My Wetsuit Plan To Stay Warm for World’s Toughest Mudder
lundi, 24 octobre 2016
par 3-secondes
World’s Toughest Mudder is arguable the most grueling long distance obstacle course race on the planet. In 2014 the 24-hour race moved from Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ to the desert of Lake Las Vegas where many competitors underestimated just how cold it can get at night. Given the multiple water obstacles featured at WTM,

Chances are that by now you’re either sick of climbing Owl’s Head, the venue of the 2016 Montreal Spartan Beast & Ultra Beast, or you’re sick of hearing about how hard it was to climb Owl’s Head. The final race on Spartan’s Eastern Canada circuit ended in style with hot/humid temperatures, a drinking water shortage and 2,075

The 2XU XTRM 7” 2-IN-1 short is a short with a built-in inner compression brief attached, designed for running and “endurance demands”. I tested them on short easy runs, a 32km long trail run, a 7km obstacle course race that brought us in-and-out of water multiple times and in the gym. Here is my opinion

I’m not sure if you’ve noticed but Canadians have been taking over half the podium positions at US Spartan Races as of late…and we’re not just talking about Ryan Atkins and Lindsay Webster. Donald Trump surprised the Obstacle Course Racing community by stating yesterday in an interview on CNN that he will run a Spartan Race this summer. While Spartan Race Eastern Canada passed on adding a Competitive Heat to their race series in 2016, Western Canada will offer it at all their races this year.
